Description:
Scope of Work The Rural Municipality of Garden River # 490 is accepting sealed tenders for gravel crushing, screening and stock piling. We require approximately 8,000 cubic yards extracted, crushed and piled. The gravel pit is located at the Gowan Pit SW/SE 04-51-23 W2. Knowledge of Site and Work Bidders should visit the site of the gravel pit and make allowances in their bids for such conditions as in the sole opinion of the bidder are warranted. The RM makes no representation or warranty as to the conditions of the site. Please contact the foreman at shop@rmgardenriver.com to set up a time to view the pit. Tender Must Include Each tender shall include the following information: A breakdown of all costs associated with your total crushing price and a list of taxes that must be added or are included in your crushing price; A copy of letter of good standing with Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board (WCB); A list of equipment/machinery that will be used and insurance coverage for the equipment/machinery; Crush to the Municipality-s specifications of type 106 with 7/8” rock. Contractors Responsibility The Contractor shall provide daily quality control sieve results performed by a qualified material testing agency to ensure that the gravel is meeting the specified gradation. The Contractor must apply and pay for all permits required, by authorities having jurisdiction, to carry out the work.
