Description:
The Rural Municipality of Reford No. 379 is accepting proposals from interested parties for the supply and stockpiling of modified Type 106 specification traffic gravel at contractor-s source pit within the RM of Reford No. 379. The Scope of Work is crush 10,000 cubic yards of road gravel to modified Type 106 Gravel specification. The contractor is required to conduct quality testing on the gravel during production, with first test being conducted within the first 1,000 cubic yards produced and minimum of one test per 5,000 cubic yards produced. Testing must be performed by an accredited laboratory in Saskatchewan, and the results shall be submitted to the municipality for review. Additionally, once gravel hauling to the road begins, random truckloads may be selected for testing. A representative sample will be taken from each selected truckload for analysis. If two consecutive random samples yield unsatisfactory results, the contractor will be instructed to cease hauling until the issue is resolved. Failure to meet the required standards during on-road testing may result in a reduction in payment or rejection of the material. Supply and Stockpile required by June 30th, 2025. Surveying of gravel stockpile will be arranged by the RM.
