Description:
The City of St. John's is looking to procure Construction Management Services (Pre-Construction & Construction) for a new fire station located in Goulds, Newfoundland and Labrador. The new station will service Goulds and the surrounding areas and will replace the existing volunteer fire station. It will include 3 drive-through service bays, an apparatus, bay floor, kitchen, training and sleeping quarters as well as some administrative space. The fire station will be designed to meet Passive House Standards, with the intent of achieving Passive House Certification.The successful proponent will be required to undertake a wide range of services, including but not limited to the following: participating in design reviews and meetings, estimating, tender services, construction, testing, commissioning, training and project closeout.The City of St. John-s intends to enter a Construction Management Contract utilizing the CCDC 5B Form- 2010 Construction Management - for Pre-Construction and Construction Services. Through a rigorous evaluation process, the most qualified firm to undertake the work will be identified to provide services and work through all phases of the project. Proponents shall also be advised that the City of St. John's has now incorporated "Performance Evaluation" into its standard terms
