Notice Details Request for Proposals (RFP) - Financial Audit Services

The Greater Miramichi Regional Service Commission (GMRSC) is inviting qualified accounting firms to submit proposals to provide financial audit services for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2024, through December 31, 2026. The engagement may be extended for an additional two years, contingent on mutual agreement.

Proposals must adhere to Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and Public Sector Accounting Standards. The scope includes auditing GMRSC's financial records and systems and issuing an opinion on the fairness of the annual consolidated financial statements. Additional requirements include professional liability insurance and Worksafe NB registration.

Proposals will be evaluated on experience, understanding of local government auditing, and pricing, among other criteria.
