SUMMARY:
Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Lake Country (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing corridor improvement works on portions of Glenmore Road and Seaton Road in Lake Country, including:
Asphalt paving - approximately 200m on Glenmore Road, and 400m on Seaton RoadMinor drainage improvementsConcrete median curbSignage and road markingsFull details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP, including the referenced Contract Drawings.
Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:
The Work on Glenmore Road may commence anytime on or after April 1, 2025. Substantial Performance for all Work on Glenmore Road (including the intersection with Seaton Road) must be achieved no later than May 9, 2025.Work on Seaton Road cannot commence until the District has completed its District-performed waterworks, which shall be complete sometime between April 15 and May 15, 2025. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Performance for all Work on Seaton Road within a maximum 15 calendar days following notification by the District that the District-s Seaton Road waterworks are complete.Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.
