Description:
Parsons, as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP), and acting as both the Mine Manager and Prime Contractor, will be holding an OPTIONAL site tour of the On-Site Aggregate Production Management Construction Work Area for the Giant Mine Remediation Program in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on August 27, 2025 prior to the RFP issuance while the weather is still favorable and prior to any snow cover.This procurement is set aside under the Federal government's Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) program [A3000T(2014-11-27)]. When there are two or more local PSIB Indigenous Businesses with confirmed affiliation with any Indigenous Communities that demonstrate the capacity to perform the work, then the solicitation is PSIB Regional. If there is only one local PSIB Indigenous Business that demonstrate the capacity to perform the work, then the solicitation will be PSIB Conditional; this means that the solicitation is open to PSIB Indigenous Businesses and non-Indigenous businesses.Interested attendees of the site tour must confirm their attendance and provide the details of the two persons (maximum) who will attend by registering the below information to Procurement.GMRP.Parsons@parsons.com by August 20, 2025 at 1PM MT.
