Description:
The District invites detailed Proposals from consultant firms (“Proponents”) with expertise in geotechnical engineering for the provision of geotechnical consulting services on an as-needed or emergency bases.
The District is seeking proponents with expertise in one or both of the following areas.
1. Geotechnical support on District infrastructure projects, including completion of site investigations, preparation of geotechnical reports, and completion of various geotechnical designs (retaining wall, shoring & excavation, foundation, etc.), and completion of EOR reviews during construction.
2. Slope stability and other geohazard assessments, including risk mitigation recommendations. These services may be required on an emergency basis.
A successful proponent need only have expertise or interest in one of the above-mentioned fields; however, ability to assist the District in both of these fields will be considered an asset. The District intends to hire at least one proponent per specialized field of work listed above. Proponents should clearly identify in their proposal which field(s) of work their services will cover.
The District intends to retain three (3) firms to provide geotechnical consulting services as a result of this RFSO, but reserves the right to select more (or fewer) at its sole discretion. Proponents interested in this opportunity are invited to submit a Proposal.
