Description:
A genomics laboratory is being set up at the Plant and Animal Health Centre located at 1767 Angus Campbell Rd, Abbotsford, BC V3G 2M3 (the “Laboratory”). The Laboratory is being run as a pilot project with funding from the Sustainable Community Agricultural Partnership, a federal and provincial initiative intended to support farmers and processors across Canada. MAF is seeking up to two (2) qualified and experienced Proponents who will support this pilot project by providing a variety of laboratory-based services related to developing, optimizing, validating, and performing genomic assays for the Laboratory (the “Services”). The Contractors will be expected to work together in the Laboratory on a divided list of genomic assays as determined by the Province, in its sole discretion, which may be based on the evaluation of the qualifications and experience set out in Appendix B.
