This new capability is currently under development and for that purpose a demonstrator has been built. This demonstrator features the structure and logic of the analysis and is presently developped around a single engagement scenarios along with a few variants, and aims at measuring the survivability of the troops, vehicle and mission effectiveness through different observables. The engagement scenario models different aspects and domains as they appear on the battlefield, including, but not limited to, Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP), human factor, situational awareness, targeting, weapons external ballistic and terminal ballistic (represented as submodels in the demonstrator). A multi-steps process is now considered to formalize this demonstrator into the new tool Numerical Evaluation of Mission Effectiveness and Systems Integrated Survivability (NEMESIS).
