Description:
The Town of Halton Hills and the Halton Hills Public Library (collectively referred to as the "Town") are seeking proposals from qualified Proponents with municipal insurance experience. The goal is to provide a high-quality and comprehensive general insurance program (excluding health and benefits) as outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
Proposals may be received from insurers without the use of an independent licensed broker if the insurer is a Managing General Agent and can provide services with qualified principals and licensed support staff. Proposals may also be received as a joint venture from an insurer utilizing the services of a licensed broker through the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO). If utilizing a RIBO licensed insurance broker, the insurer is responsible for paying all fees and/or commissions of all brokers involved with the provision of coverage and services offered within their proposal.
All proponents interested in submitting a proposal for this RFP must meet the following requirements:
Registered Plan Taker: Proponents must be registered plan takers on the Town-s Bidding SystemNon-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): Proponents must complete and return a PDF copy of Appendix A - Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to byew@haltonhills.ca.
