Description:
The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (“the City”) is seeking to procure General Contracting Services for the Small Arms Inspection Building (“SAIB”) South Building South Parking Lot redevelopment located at 1352 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, ON, L5E 1E9.
Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the purpose of this project is to:
Address storm water management infrastructure for the site including a new infiltration tank, new bioswales with permeable pavers, new storm pipes, replacing broken clay storm pipes with new drilled PVC storm pipes, new headwall, new vegetated swale, and new catch basins and manholes. Expand the parking lot including demolition of the existing parking lot, excavation, soil removals and disposals to designated dump sites, backfill, regrading, new subbase, compaction, asphalt paving, line painting, new concrete curbs, stairs, and associated testing and inspection. Adding concrete walkways with depressed curbs and tactile surfaces. New railings, gates, and waste enclosure. New waste enclosure to include directional signage and graphics printed onto perforated panels. New parking lot lights, building wall pack lighting and site feature lighting including new concrete pre-cast light pole bases with recessed receptacle box and new buried electrical conduit services run from the building-s main electrical room.
