- As outlined in Metro Vancouver-s Green Fleet Plan, fleet electrification is expected to play a critical role in meeting Metro Vancouver-s climate action goals to lower GHG emissions and to become net zero. The Green Fleet Plan requires a minimum of 307 vehicles to be transitioned / replaced to electric vehicles over the next 6 years. It is estimated that over 400 EV charging stations are required at hub charging and opportunistic charging locations to meet these aggressive goals.
