Description: 5.0 Terms of Reference 5.1 Background the City Requires Maintenance Services for General Civil Services. these Services will Include such Things as Excavation, Placement of Granular Materials, Compaction, Backfilling, Water and Sewer Pipeline Repairs, Ditch Reprofiling, Culvert Replacements, Etc. Services Would Apply Throughout the Year. 5.2 Scope of Services the Following Scope of Services Apply: - General Civil Services - Excavation, Hoe-Ramming/ Rock-Breaking, Placement of Granular Materials, Compaction, Backfilling, and Ditch Reprofiling. - Snow Removal Services - Removal of Snow Accumulated at Snow Piling Sites, and Transport to Designated Dump Location. - Road Grading Services. - Repair to Underground Water and Sewer Utilidor Piping Infrastructure. - Repair And/Or Replacement of Existing Drainage Culverts. - all Material, Labour, Equipment and Supervison to Perform Required Civil Works, as Requested by the City-S Contract Manager or Designate. - Ensure Work is Performed to the City of Iqaluit Municipal Design Guidelines (Appendix D). - Perform all Required Quality Assurance / Quality Control (Qa/Qc) Checks Associated with the Works. this Includes: Sieve Analysis, Compaction Tests, Pressure Tests, Leakage Tests, Etc.
