Project Description : **Note** UCalgary now posts documents on MERX www.merx.comThe University of Calgary intends to award General Electric Healthcare for the provision of high-performance electrical and mechanical components, consisting of electrical cabinets, cabling, MRI gradient hardware and computers. These GE Healthcare components and software are required to upgrade two GE Healthcare Discovery 750 and 750W systems to 3 Tesla Ultra High Performance (UHP) whole-body human research Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners at the Alberta Children-s and Foothills Hospital sites. It is vital that the upgrade components are compatible with the current GE systems
