- Tender are invited for Gas Chromatograph System
Project Description : The Gas Chromatograph System will be used on a daily basis to monitor the progress of organic reactions, which will typically be catalyzed by transition metal catalysts. The FID (Flame Ionization) Detection mode will primarily be used for quantitation of reaction products, whereas the MS (Mass Spectrometry) detection mode will allow for the assignment of different chemical species based on the observed molecular peak and fragmentation pattern. The capacity for dual detection will make it possible to cross-reference the FID and MS data obtained from a single analysis.High-throughput experimentation in 96-well plates will be performed on a regular basis. To reduce the environmental footprint of our analyses, an autosampler that can sample directly from 96-well plates is requested, thus alleviating the need to transfer the contents of the wells to GC vials. Ideally, the same autosampler would also be able to sample from GC vials.
