Description : This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of FY23 RUD Cable Condition Assessment, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”). SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan. SaskPower is seeking to engage a Proponent to perform Rural Underground Distribition (RUD) cable testing. The objective of cable testing is to assess the overall condition of aged RUD cables (single point in time or trended) for asset management decision-making (using leading indicators) and to allow prioritization of investment in the highest risk RUD cables.
