This is an insurance product that replaces Subcontractor bonding. As SDI is being used on this Project; the bidder will not be required to provide a performance and payment bond, provided that the Subcontractor has successfully pre-qualified to EllisDon for enrollment into the insurance program. All Subcontracts with a subcontract value in excess of $500,000 must have Contract Performance Security in the form of an acceptance and rating from EllisDon.
