- The University of Calgary intends to purchase the Aurora Flow Cytometer from Cytek Biosciences. This system will be used in conjunction with other Cytek system. To the universities- knowledge, this is the only full spectrum flow cytometer with five (5) lasers UV/V/B/YG/R, 64 fluorescent Avalanche Photodiode (APD) detectors, vacuum fluidics, small particle detection using Violet laser SSC and flat-top beam shaping optics, capable of 40+ colors.Additionally, in order to maintain continuity in the analysis and continuation of experimentation previously conducted we require the same instrument and SpectraFlo software.
