Description:
Lac Seul First Nation is seeking bids from General Contractors for the supply and installation of water system upgrades to service their Frenchman-s Head community. Lac Seul First Nation is an indigenous Community that is located in northern Ontario approximately 20 kilometers west of Sioux Lookout.The Project Management Team (PMT) includes representatives of the Owner (Lac Seul First Nation), the Technical Service Advisor (Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA)), the Funding Agency (Indigenous Services Canada (ISC)), and the Engineer and Contract Administrator (Neegan Burnside Ltd.).The project includes but is not limited to the following proposed works: Replacement of existing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system and programmable logic controller (PLC); Replacement of existing WTP work station; Installation of variable frequency drives (VFD) to the low lift pumping station (LLPS) pumps and replacement of one (1) of the LLPS pumps; Integration of post-membrane filter turbidity analysers into SCADA system; Installation and programming of autodialer; Removal and replacement of backwash tank and downstream piping; Removal and replacement of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter media; Supply and installation of secondary containment for chemical tanks (chlorine tank and coagulant tank); Integration of the coagulant dosing pumps and chlorine dosing pumps into SCADA system; Replacement of the coagulant mixing system; Cleaning and inspection of two (2) reser...
