- .1 Working towards the outcomes and objectives identified within the Concept Design and Assessment Report, the successful Proponent is to apply proven parks-based (non-urban) technical design practices in conjunction with appropriate tools and skilled resources through the Conceptual Design, Detailed Design, Approval Process, Issued for Tender and Issued for Construction and Project Close Out phases for the site to achieve the end result desired by the Province..2 The work to be accomplished under this project includes:.1 New Shower Building.1 Develop design, including floor plans and elevations for review and approval from Alberta Forestry and Parks..2 Ensure the design adheres to all Federal and Provincial Building Codes, including Barrier-Free Guidelines..3 Ensure the design and selected materials are low-maintenance, energy efficient, and easily maintained/serviced..4 Integrate information received from the water and wastewater utilities, services, and related infrastructure assessment into the design of the new shower building and associated wastewater system..5 Accommodate feedback from the Parks Division and incorporate it into the design..6 Improve access into the new shower facility and deter access into the adjacent septic field through the use of fencing..7 Improve the logistics and functionality of the parking area for shower building users..2 Upgrade signage using Alberta Parks standard sign catalogue as needed..3 Increase accessibility wherever reasonably possib...
