Description:
Elkwood and Boulton Campgrounds are situated in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, approximately 50KM south of Highway 1 on Highway 40, and further south on Kananaskis Lakes Trail. Both campgrounds offer well‐treed sites suitable for RVs and tents, making them a popular destination for hiking and biking enthusiasts.Each campground features an amphitheatre - Elkwood Amphitheatre and Boulton Amphitheatre - serving as vibrant entertainment venues where visitors can enjoy interpretive programs, musical theatre shows, environmental education, and natural history presentation.A consultant, engaged trough a separate procurement, reviewed and assessed both amphitheatres from architectural, structural, and accessibility perspectives. The consultant identified several deficiencies requiring remediation.The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from suitably qualified Proponents who demonstrate sufficient experience and qualification to provide detailed design, secure approvals, prepare tender documents and perform project management and construction monitoring services for the redevelopment of these sites.Refer to Request for Proposal (RFP) document for complete background and project information.
