- This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of Harvesting Services for Cypress Hills Inter-Provincial Park (CHIPP), as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A). The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sports (PCS), Park Division is responsible for managing the enhancement of Saskatchewan-s provincial parks system, conservation of the ecosystems and cultural resources, to provide a safe and healthy environment for park visitors. The outcomes expected from this competition are: • Forest Renewal of 1000 hectares (ha) of park forest land in CHIPP over a five-year period • Reduction of overmature forest in CHIPP which will help reduce mountain pine beetle populations while also reducing wildfire risk in the park
