Tender are invited for For the Supply, Implementation and Maintenance of a Smart Truck Software Solution for Waste and Recycling Collection Vehicles
Project Description : The City of Calgary (The City) is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents with proven experience providing stand alone, Smart Truck software solution(s) for the provision of waste collections services to residences of The City of Calgary (currently 330,000 residences) to supply, implement, and support a smart truck technology solution to improve operational and problem reporting efficiency, increase infield data collection capabilities, enable validation of service and modernize field monitoring. The proposed solution must be able to provide the Deliverables outlined in the RFP and may be Cloud/SAAS (Software as a Solution) based, On-Premise, or a combination of both (i.e., Hybrid). Proposals should clearly identify which option is being proposed on the cover of the proposal. If a Proponent elects to propose more than one (1) option, each option must be submitted as separate proposals.The proposed solution will:• Improve operational efficiency• Improve problem reporting efficiency• Increase infield data collection capabilities• Provide the ability to validate service• Modernize field monitoringThe highest rated proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables.
