Description : Defence Construction Canada - Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Construction Services: RPOP005-73217, FOL Hangar Furnace Replacement, Iqaluit, Nunavut Settlement Area (NSA) In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from construction firms to replace the furnaces in the FOL Hangar located in Iqaluit, Nunavut Settlement Area. DCC has confirmed that there are two (2) or more qualified Inuit Firms on the Inuit Firm Registry. In accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat-s Directive on Government Contracts (including real property leases) in the NSA, Proponents are advised that bidding for this solicitation is therefore restricted to qualified Inuit Firms that are registered and in good standing with the Inuit Firm Registry. Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to Inuit and Nunavut benefits for Inuit employment, Inuit training and skills development, subcontracting to Inuit firms, and the location of offices/facilities in the NSA.
