Description:
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of Floatplane Services, as further described in the RFP Deliverables. The wildfire management program depends on the contracting of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft from commercial air carriers to aid in the detection and management of wildfires. The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is a Treasury Board Crown Agency responsible for: provincial emergency management, fire safety and wildfire management in our province; and managing Saskatchewan's 911 emergency dispatching services. It is SPSA-s intention to enter into an Agreement with one (1) supplier to supply the two floatplanes or two (2) proponents if one can not supply both planes.
