The Province is seeking proposals from proponents with experience managing and delivering a variety of program activities regarding fish, wildlife, water and ecosystems.
The Ministries are seeking a single service provider to assist the Ministries in managing and delivering a wide range of projects related to fish, wildlife, water and ecosystems, including:
- research and policy development activities;
- inventory;
- monitoring;
- data/modeling/reporting;
- invasive species;
- wildlife health;
- public outreach;
- impact assessment /mitigation;
- ecosystem mapping/modeling;
- effectiveness monitoring;
- cumulative effects assessment;
- habitat enhancement/restoration; and
- water management.
It is expected that two similar contracts will result from this RFP, one with the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development, and one with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy.
