Description:
This project involves the supply of labour, materials and equipment from qualified suppliers to perform one inspection per year of all fire extinguishers and hose cabinets, and two inspections per year of kitchen systems and vehicle suppression systems located in the City of Cornwall and surrounding area.
A written report shall be provided outlining any contravention of the Fire Code arising from the inspections so the City of Cornwall may undertake the proper remedial actions for code compliance.
Suppliers to include with their submission copies of Certificates of Competency as set out by N.F.P.A. (NFPA 10-Portable Fire Extinguishers, NFPA 1961, NFPA 96-Commercial Kitchens, CAN/ULC-S536 Fire Alarms).
Cornwall Transit has six water-based fire suppression system units manufactured by Fogmaker North America. The Fogmaker North America Systems are installed on Chevy/GMC 3500 & 4500 series buses. A copy of the “FOGMAKER NORTH AMERICA - 2021 - PRESENT CHEVY/GMC 3500 & 4500 INSTALLATION MANUAL” has been uploaded on the City website as a separate attachment.
