Detailed_Description : The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) is currently managing over 40 Terabytes (TB) of legacy data. This data comprises a diverse array of file types, including documents, spreadsheets, images, and databases, all of which are dispersed across numerous shared drives within the Ministry. The existing tools at the Ministry-s disposal lack the capacity to effectively analyze, identifying Redundant, Obsolete and Trivial (ROT) files for cleanup of the large volume data.
Scope of Work : The objective of this RFB is to procure a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) based tool that will facilitate the comprehensive analysis and seamless migration (where needed) of the Ministry-s extensive data repository. The selected software will be deployed on-premises, ensuring that all data migration activities are conducted within the secure confines of a Ministry-operated data center. This approach not only enhances data security but also ensures compliance with relevant data governance policies and regulations.
