Detailed_Description : The Ministry of Natural Resources, through the Aquatic Research and Monitoring Section, is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) for the provision of a new 17-foot to 18-foot (17--18-) fiberglass, center console, unsinkable research vessel, complete with a galvanized trailer, 115 HP outboard motor and a secondary electric kicker motor. This vessel will support inland lake research, including deployment and retrieval of nets and sampling equipment. The Deliverables must include all specified components, electronics, safety features, and must comply with applicable Transport Canada regulations. All equipment must be new and in ready-to-operate condition, with warranties and manuals provided.
Scope of Work : This equipment is required to support aquatic research and fisheries monitoring operations conducted throughout Algonquin Provincial Park and surrounding areas. These operations occur between April and December and include daytime and night-time work on inland lakes. The vessel must be durable, compliant with Transport Canada standards, and include all components as outlined in the specifications. Delivery or pick-up must be completed by December 31, 2025. Deliverables will be inspected upon receipt and must include all required documentation, including ownership papers and manuals.
