Tender Details SCOPE
The Department of Public Safety is looking to establish an Estimated Quantity Contract for the supply and delivery of Fiber Mattress - Institutional, on an as and when required basis as per the items listed below or equivalent.
This contract will be for a two (2) year term, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year terms upon agreement by both parties.
If bidder(s) choose to submit and "Equivalent Product", the bidder should provide product specifications at the time of bid submissions for the review and approval of the Department.
OPTION YEAR PRICING
Pricing will be subject to negotiation of a satisfactory contract price not to exceed the tendered price plus any published increase in the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index (CPI). If a mutually agreed upon price cannot be reached GNB reserves the right to re-tender, re-award or delete the item(s) in question.
SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Please refer to the attached documents.
- The successful bidder must inform Clients at the time of order placement when products are on back order and/or out-of-stock.
- GNB reserves the right to accept substitute product of equivalent quality with better unit pricing during this contract. Any such product must be previously inspected and approved by GNB.
SUBMITTALS
Bidders should include product information / specifications with their bid submission if bidding on an equivalent product.
DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED PRODUCTS
Defective/Damaged product will be returned to the Supplier to be replaced at no cost, including freight charges, to the Client(s).
