Description:
The City of Ottawa currently has a contract with an independent company to fully source and manage the City-s uniform and clothing program. The Contractor is responsible for supplying around 6,000 staff with uniforms, clothing, and accessories on an as and when requested basis. The Contractor is responsible to sourcing all clothing and accessories, having an online portal for staff ordering, and delivering directly to each end user when an order is placed.The City is planning to go out to the market with a competitive Request for Proposal process in the near future, with the intention of entering into a long-term contract for an externally managed uniform solution. The purpose of this Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) is to solicit feedback from interested market participants, to assist the City in understanding the capabilities of suppliers, and to help scope what the City may ask for in solutions that are reasonable and obtainable in a future Request for Proposal process.This REOI is open to all market participants who would like to provide some feedback or insights into the clothing/uniform market and capabilities.
