Description:
Work of this Contract comprises the following: • Removal of existing power distribution equipment (Main Distribution Panel (MDP) and breakers, branch circuit panelboards and breakers), and replacement with new • Disconnection and reconnection of all existing loads; allowing for temporary power connections as required to keep the facility operational (Refer to Cash Allowances for details concerning temporary power) • Updating of all panel schedules; applying new labels and lamicoids to the new equipment • Painting/Patching/Repairing any surfaces affected by this replacement work (Refer to Cash Allowances for details) • Completing an arc flash/coordination study and applying appropriate labelling (Refer to Cash Allowances for details) • Removal and replacement of existing feeders (conduit and wiring) between the MDP and its various downstream branch circuit panelboards (Refer to Section 01 23 00 - Alternatives, item 4.2 - Alternative ‘B-) • Removal and replacement of incoming secondary power feeders (conduit and wiring) from exterior utility padmount transformer to MDP (Refer to Section 01 23 00 - Alternatives, item 4.3 - Alternative ‘C-)
