- CreateTO is advancing the delivery of a mass timber housing project for the properties located at 1113-1117 Dundas St W (the “Site”). The development will facilitate the construction of a 10-storey tall mass timber residential building, as part of CreateTO and the City of Toronto-s Environment and Climate Division-s Mass Timber Housing Pilot Program. The Site will be one of the first projects completed as part of the City-s ‘Public Developer Model-. Upon completion of the building, the City of Toronto will own the building and lease it to a non-for-profit partner to operate.CreateTO will be issuing an RFP to bring on the Mass Timber group that will design and construct the site. The objective of this RFP is to bring on a Fairness Monitor to oversee the fairness of the Procurement process of the Mass Timber RFP.
