Description:
The County of Frontenac invites interested proponents to provide a quote to supply landscaping services for Fairmount Home and County Administration.
The project scope includes a quote for all material, labour, overhead, equipment and all other expenses as necessary to maintain Fairmount Home-s front garden beds, circular garden bed, main courtyard and Lilac Terrace courtyard. In additional, the proponent will maintain the County Administration-s front garden bed and rear garden bed at the back of the County Administration building.
Scope of work
Spring garden opening (April - May)
Removal of debris accumulated in garden
Cultivation, weeding, and edging of garden beds
Trimming plants
Pruning shrubs
Application of organic spring fertilizer
Inspections of plants for winter damage
Mulch in all beds
Fall closing - November
Leaf removal and clean up of gardens
Inspection of trees, flowing shrubs, evergreens, and herbaceous plants for susceptibility to winter damage
Winterizing plants as required
Additional
Minimum of six (6) gardening maintenance visits for all gardens (minimum monthly May to October)
Maintenance to include weeding, cultivation, pruning, and general upkeep of all garden beds to maintain a neat and healthy appearance.
