Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to proceed to replace the existing Nurse Call Systems at the Vancouver General Hospital, Leon Blackmore Pavilion Level 8 with the Responder 5000; Project Number F684-00.
The contractor and the estimated value of the work will be:Logical Solutions Ltd. Located at #118 - 11121 Horseshoe Way, Richmond, British Columbia V7A 5G7.$148,126 plus GST.
The work includes Supply and installing the following Rauland Responder 5000 Nurse Call Consoles, components, and System commissioning, verification, and staff training to match and replace the existing system.
VCH has chosen to direct award the contract for the following reasons:Rauland-s Responder 5000 is being selected for its compatibility to the existing nurse call system that are in use at Leon Blackmore Pavilion. The current system is obsolete, with parts no longer available. The timely replacement of the system would provide undisrupted patient care. It requires the least amount of change management and training for clinical staff. Logical Solutions Ltd. is the only available provider within BC that can supply the Responder 5000.Logical Solutions Ltd. can speed up the process and complete the needed replacement by end of March 2025.
