Project Description : 1. BackgroundThe Calgary Board of Education is seeking quotes to refresh its current Wireless Access Points (WAP) infrastructure with newer WAPs.This infrastructure spans 240+ schools and administrative buildings providing untethered wireless network/internet access to students and staff to meet their learning and teaching objectives.Note: The CBE has standardized on Extreme Networks product line and would like to stay with this technology.2. RequestThe CBE would like to place the order for 10,000 Wireless Access Points to be delivered and deployed in three years. CBE must receive the first batch of 2500 WAPs by Aug 31, 2022 and the remaining in next two years.Only one Purchase Order (PO) will be issued for the full amount with staggered deliveries as per the following schedule: 2,500 to be shipped by August 31, 2022 3,750 approximate shipped in batches by August 31, 2023 3,750 remaining shipped in batches by August 31, 2024
