- The Ministry, on behalf of the Ontario Public Service (OPS), has established a service known as External Connectivity Infrastructure (ECI). ECI facilitates the connection of OPS networks and Data Centres, to external Network Access Services (NAS), cloud services providers, Internet Exchange providers, and Internet Service Providers. This is accomplished by establishing OPS servers, routers, gateways, and firewalls (which will be owned and operated by the Ministry) in colocation Space to facilitate the required connectivity.
