• Description:
• The Regional Municipality of Peel (herein the “Agency”) requires the services of a qualified external auditor to conduct audit services in compliance with public sector accounting standards and any applicable federal, provincial, and municipal regulations. The Vendor shall leverage audit technology to improve efficiency, including secured file transfer and digital collaboration platforms.
  MANDATORY REQUIREMENTSOnly Bidders that have experience working with Canadian Public Sector Organizations, the Partner and/or Project Lead shall be an Auditor licensed under the Public Accounting Act, 2004 and possesses a minimum of ten years- experience in performing municipal audits and all required qualifications as set forth under Section 296 subsection 1 of the Municipal Act, 2001 of Ontario and have successfully completed recent audits within the last 3 years for a minimum of two municipalities, one of which must be an upper tier or single tier municipality, with revenues greater than $200,000,000, will be considered for award.
  CONTRACTThe agreement attached to the Document as Appendix 7.1 will govern the provision of services by the Vendor. Bidder Submissions which are qualified by the Bidder based on terms the Bidder wishes to negotiate, or which contain any other proposed form of agreement, will be disqualified and not considered.
  This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
