Description:
NOSM University is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide annual external audit services, commencing with the 2025 2026 fiscal year. The Successful Proponent will conduct audits of the University's financial statements in accordance with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS) and the Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNPO), and will present findings to the Finance, Audit and Risk Management (FARM) Committee and Board of Governors.NOSM University is a publicly funded, independent medical university with a distributed learning model across Northern Ontario. The audit scope includes the University's financial statements, enrolment reporting, and selected ministry-funded programs, with optional audits for specific programs or funding streams, as required.The initial term of the agreement will be three (3) years, with an option to extend for up to two (2) additional one-year periods, for a maximum potential term of five (5) years, subject to satisfactory performance and necessary approvals.
