- Scope of Work/Overview:A project is required to replace exterior water valves supplying the building. There are approximately 6 to 8 known exterior water shutoff valves. These valves supply the domestic water and fire protection to the building. 3 of the valves are known to be presently not working. Some of the existing valves and piping may be redundant. Consultant should anticipate doing a comprehensive review including scanning and/or trenching to determine the exact location of valves and piping, which valves are needed, and which valves and piping are redundant. Method on how to remedy with the identified redundant piping and valves is to be included in the scope, if applicable. Design should streamline valves to ensure an efficient system.
