Tender are invited for This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) tender is limited to Inuit businesses registered with the Inuit Firms Registry (IFR).Offers submitted by businesses not on the IFR will render the offer non-responsive and no further consideration will be accorded to the solicitation.Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) intends to award up to 6 (six) Standing Offer Agreements (SOAs) for a three year period, with two one-year option periods.If fewer than 6 SOAs are awarded as a result of this RFSO, then an open tender may follow to award additional SOAs.This tender is subject to the provisions of the Nunavut Land Claim Agreement.Description of the RequirementCIRNAC is responsible for sustainable development and co-management of the land and its resources in Nunavut in accordance with the DIAND Act. The Nunavut Regional Office of CIRNAC implements the department's responsibilities to: manage Crown lands and inland waters in Nunavut in accordance with legislation, regulations, departmental and federal policy, and program guidelines; lead departmental participation in the co-management processes of Nunavut's institutions of public government; and the promotion of compliance with regulatory instruments through inspections and enforcement activities.
