Description:
Red Deer County is soliciting proposals from experienced consultants to provide project management services for the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system. The goal of this RFP is to identify a project management partner who will oversee the successful transition from the County-s current financial systems—Central Square-s Diamond and Worktech Pearl—to a modern, scalable ERP solution.
Red Deer County is currently in the process of evaluating potential ERP financial software providers and will be awarding the ERP financial solution contract in late June 2025. Following this award, the County aims to begin the planning and implementation phase of the new system. The selected system will replace the current financial infrastructure with a comprehensive solution that enhances functionality, ensures business continuity, and meets both operational and organizational needs.
Serving a population of nearly 20,000 across 4,000 km², Red Deer County provides a full range of municipal services through a workforce of 128 employees. The County-s 2024 annual budget includes $66 million in operating funds and $45 million in capital funds.
The ERP replacement software solution providers are currently being evaluated through the RFP process, with a short-list expected to be realized by April 25, 2025.
