The questions are regarding the Canadian Coast GuardÂ’s (CCG) requirement for portable vacuum systems that have a minimum 1000 cubic feet per minute (cfm) vacuum suction capacity and a minimum 3000 cfm vacuum suction capacity. These portable vacuum systems will be used to recover hydrocarbon oils primarily from collection pools into a temporary storage device. Background Information:The Environmental Response Equipment Modernization (ERE) Project for the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) forms part of the Oceans Protection Plan announced in November 2016.
