- Description:
- The City is intending to enter in a strategic agreement with a preferred vendor for the supply, delivery, and installation of equipment lockers for the LPS. This project aims to automate the storage, distribution and return of policing equipment by officers through the use of lockers and synergized technology that restricts and gives access as programmed. The lockers need to be made of minimum 18-gauge, heavy gauge steel, be customizable / modular, have a range of sizes and be expandable for future growth. The identified weapon room has a vertical clearance of 93”. The technology should allow for various methods of authentication to access a locker, be programmable to assign criteria, roles and users, and allow for customizable real time alerts and reporting. The detailed specifications of the lockers can be found in Attachment 2 - Specifications. As part of this purchase, the successful proponent will be required to provide installation, training, and support services for these lockers.
