Description:
EPCOR’s wastewater and Drainage services operations are regulated by the City of Edmonton. Both EPCOR Wastewater Services and Drainage Services operate under a Performance Based Regulation (PBR) model with the current term approved for 2022-2024. . As part of the upcoming separate rate applications for Wastewater and Drainage Services for the 2025-2027 period, a review of the capital assets classification, review of useful lives and categorization is desired to refresh the support and consider any necessary revisions based on industry expertise and benchmarking. Wastewater Services last obtained a depreciation study in 2016 which supported their 2017-2021 PBR Application. Drainage Services has not had a depreciation study since its transfer from the City of Edmonton
