Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Parks and Trails Branch ("ECC") to prospective contractors to submit proposals for supply and construction/installation of four (4) park entrance signs for Duck Mountain Provincial Park as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work"). Work may also include supply and construction/installation of four (4) additional campground signs in Duck Mountain Provincial Park.The work is being done in Duck Mountain Provincial Park along the 4 major entry routes into the park. The work sites will be partially occupied during construction with traffic on the adjacent entry roads.In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this Solicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian suppliers, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified.Proponents to bid using the approved product list and/or specifications (which may include US products), however, following contract award the successful Bidders will be required to work with Government and associated consultants to substitute some/all US...
