Engineers Canada is seeking proposals from qualified consultants or consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive business enablement review of two essential national services: the National Membership Database (NMDB) and The Engineers Canada Mobility Register (ECMR). The primary focus of this review is to ensure these services deliver optimal effectiveness and value to engineering regulators across Canada.Both services are integral to supporting engineering regulation and enhancing the mobility of engineers currently licensed in Canada both within Canada and internationally. The objective of this review is to strengthen support for regulators, guaranteeing that these services continue to meet evolving needs and produce high-impact results.The consultant will complete an operational effectiveness review, offering actionable recommendations to improve service delivery, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and uphold Engineers Canada's obligations as a national service provider according to The National Statement of Collaboration.The objectives of this engagement are to: Assess current state to maximize regulator value, Identify gaps and opportunities for enhanced regulator service, and Recommend improvements to enhance regulator experience.
