Description:
The Public Works Department of The Township of Drummond/North Elmsley is seeking the professional services of a qualified structural engineering consulting firm to perform the biennial bridge inspections in accordance with the requirements of the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM), therequirements of O. Reg 588/17, Asset Management for Municipal Infrastructure and the Township's asset management planning and budgeting requirements. This RFP covers inspections of bridges and major culverts due for completion in 2025. These works are to be carried out with the objective of assessingthe condition of fourteen (14) structures under the jurisdiction of the Township of Drummond/North Elmsley to ensure safety, identify areas of non-compliance with current regulations and design standards, and to identify maintenance, repairs, rehabilitation, and replacement needs and costs for eachstructure.
