Description : This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (the “CVRD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Engineering Design and Contract Administration Services for the Modernization of Bings Creek Recycling Centre, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix C) (the “Deliverables”). This RFP replaces the cancelled RFP R23-22 Project Management Services for Modernization of Bings Creek Recycling Centre. The CVRD intends to select one (1) professional engineering team (the “Consultant”), experienced in transfer station design, construction, and contract administration to represent the CVRD-s interests (the “Owner”) in modernizing the Bings Creek Recycling Centre (Bings RC) located at 3900 Drinkwater Road in Duncan, BC. The scope of work includes: designing and constructing a new waste transfer building, expanding an existing recycling building to accommodate increased capacity for recyclable programs, and general site improvements such as: improving traffic flow, upgrading stormwater management, increasing resilience to climate change, and other potential improvements that can be completed within the available budge...
