- Tender are invited for Engineering, Design and Consulting Services for Cypress Hills Provincial Park Marina Refurbishment - Engineering
Project Description : Alberta Parks Cypress Hills Provincial Park-s Marina was built in the 1970-s. The Marina was originally designed for the boats and use of that era which makes the slips the wrong size for modern use. The existing piles are wood and appear to be treated with creosote, these piles support the finger docks and walkways and have rotted away at the water line which has caused many issues. The land within the Marina has also started to slump leaving gaps and open spots along the walkways and has caused the existing light standards to lean other areas of the marina have metal sheet piles which need to be examined for possible replacement.Reporting to the Contract Manager, the responsibilities of the Engineering Consultant include but are not limited to the following:• Provide Consulting, Design and Geotechnical Services and any other services needed to Inspect and Design the refurbishment of the Marina during the Engineering phase and Consult during the Construction phase.• Provide new detailed signed and sealed “Issued for Construction” drawings and specifications.• Provide Geotechnical services for the design process and the Construction phase as required.• Answering technical questions raised by bidders during the tendering process and Construction phase.• Review all shop drawings provided by the contractor.• The ... - Documents :
